What types of liquid flow meters are there?

 

Liquid flowmeter is an instrument used to measure liquid flow. It is often used in various industrial fields. 1. Electromagnetic flow meter

When the liquid flows through the probe, a vortex street is formed downstream of the probe, resulting in a certain pressure difference. By measuring the pressure difference, the liquid flow rate can be calculated, and thus the flow rate can be obtained. 4. Ultrasonic flow meter

 

Ultrasonic flow meter is an instrument that uses ultrasonic waves to measure liquid flow. A pair of ultrasonic probes are installed in the pipeline, one probe emits ultrasonic waves and the other probe receives ultrasonic waves. When the liquid flows, the propagation speed of the ultrasonic wave will change. By measuring the change, the liquid flow rate can be calculated, and then the flow rate can be obtained. Ultrasonic flow meters have the characteristics of non-contact measurement, high measurement accuracy, wide measurement range, and good stability.

 

5. Mass flow meter

 

A mass flow meter is an instrument that directly measures the mass flow of a liquid. Install a mass flow sensor in the pipe to calculate the flow rate by measuring the mass of the liquid. Mass flow meters have the characteristics of high measurement accuracy, good stability, fast response speed, and long service life, but they are relatively expensive.
