1. Working principle of turbine flow meter

 

Turbine flow meters determine flow by measuring the frequency of fluid passing through a rotating turbine. Its working principle is based on the influence of
inertia and fluid forces on the turbine as it rotates in the fluid. The specific process is as follows:

 

Fluid enters the turbine flowmeter and flows through the turbine blades.

 

The flow rate of the fluid causes the turbine to start rotating, and the rotation speed of the turbine is proportional to the flow rate of the fluid.

 

A built-in sensor detects the rotational frequency of the turbine and converts it into a corresponding flow value.

 

A microprocessor or display unit processes the sensor data and displays or outputs the results to the control system.
